Katie Campisano founded her PR agency, Kamp Media Relations, in 2016 to focus primarily on startup tech companies and entrepreneurs. Following experience in both large and boutique agencies, she decided to create a company built on strong relationships with clients and media, as well as transparency, honesty, and realistic goals.

Involved in the NYC tech scene since 2010, Katie learned quickly how much she loves working with entrepreneurs, thought-leaders, and founders. The jump into startup technology was not in the original “plan”, but exposure to a world of emerging ideas and innovation became a real passion.

Her range of clients includes cryptocurrency and blockchain, 3D printing, consumer-facing apps / services, and global innovation festivals, to ad-tech companies, fitness institutions, and creative agencies.

Katie graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2010 with a degree in Public Relations and Psychology. She currently lives in Malibu, California and loves to work remotely while traveling.

Joseph Gomes is an award-winning writer, producer and creative executive.  He focuses on content development, strategy and marketing where applications of advanced technologies intersect with digital and traditional industries.   He has extensive experience (20+ years) in media and production as well as the formulation and execution of content marketing strategies.

Prior to Kamp Wider Wake, Gomes was a writer, producer and executive at multiple companies in both the digital and linear entertainment spaces. He was the co-founder and Chief Creative Officer at Digital Broadcasting Group as well as the EVP of Brand Content at Alloy Digital (DEFY Media), Gomes has also had extensive experience as a writer and producer for such networks and publications as A&E, Brill’s Content, History Channel, Inside, VH1, Starz, Discovery, The Food Network and Fox, just to name just a few.
